He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Reid and Janie Ruth Self Reid. He is survived by: his wife Clara Ann Greene Reid; his daughter Melanie Reid Burgess (Scott); his stepdaughter Pebbles Fears (Billy); his grandchildren, Caroline, Ansley Burgess, Evan, Cooper, Mattie, Alexis and Michelle Fears; and his half-sisters, Sandra Stewart (Rod) and Margaret Delong (Greg).
