It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky E. Mitchem of Campobello, South Carolina, born in Cowpens, South Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mitchem and Imogene Cantrell Mitchem; and his siblings, Myra Mitchem, Kim Mitchem Poole and Robert "Tony" Mitchem.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Cantrell Mitchem; his children, Jason Lemmonds of Spartanburg, SC, Christie Earle (Tony) of Spartanburg, SC and Gregory Mitchem of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Tyson Lemmonds, Jacob Lemmonds and Jaylan Lemmonds; and his sisters, Pam Mitchem Hicks (Gerald) of Boiling Springs, SC and Angie Mitchem Henderson (Roy) of Spartanburg, SC.. He is also survived by grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church.
