She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lamar and Mary Lavinia Jackson Ridings; her husband Raymond Blackwell; her son Jeffery Glenn Blackwell; and her siblings, James Ridings and Lula Mae Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen B. Pruitt (Douglas) and Tina Blackwell (Mark Davis); and her siblings, William Ridings, Mary Fowler, Jean Pruitt and Tonya Ridings. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
