It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Perry G. Powell of Campobello, South Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Luther Powell; his children, Perry Powell, Jr. and Dawn Purvis; and his siblings, Gene Powell, Luther Powell Bill Powell, Willard Powell, Carl Powell, Kenneth Powell of Claxton, Mary Purvis and Corine Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Powell of Greenwood, SC, Brenda Frame (Ted) of Pembroke, Linda Flynn of Campobello, SC, Valerie Carter of Cleveland, GA and Sunshine Tomlinson (Danny) of Lincoln, NE; and his sister Shirley Mauldin of Effingham. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
