She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Louise Cooper (Holcomb) and Samuel Taylor "S. T."; and her siblings, Joan Mildred Davis and Jerry Frank Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Jimmy "Champ" McClain; her children, Sammy McClain (Susan) and Karen Rosenthal (Bob); her sister Alta Faye Vanadore; and her grandchildren, Sammy McClain, Jr., Tonya Harris, Andrew McClain, Lacey Matthews and Chelsea Bentley. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
