She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Peavy and Lois Wilbanks Peavy; her husband William Henry Magaha; and her siblings, Jack Peavy, Frank Peavy, Larry "Buck" Peavy and Mary Seegars.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Magaha (Rachel) of Shelby, NC; her sister Betty Floyd of Laurens, SC; her grandchildren, Erika McKelvey (Derrill) and Jerry Spangler (Karen); her great grandchildren, Haley, Cassie and Sammy; and her niece Carolyn Simmons. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
