He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Martin and Nancy Williams Hartung; his stepfather Fred Hartung; his wife Alesia; his daughters, Liz Martin of Gastonia, Jenny Martin (Noel Nardo) of Asheville and Sarah Martin of Spartanburg; his sisters, Kay Gordon of Gastonia and Jean Barnes of Columbia; and his granddaughter Kelsey Lovett.
