She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Lowery (Laughter) and J. A. Lowery; her husband William Searcy; and her children, Helen Searcy Wilkie Mills and Ernest Gene Searcy.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Murray (Joe) of Campobello, Peggy Williams (Dennis) of Inman, Jean Ray (Randy) of Chesnee, Zeb Searcy (Edi) of Cowpens and Dean Searcy (Tammy) of Mayo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
