She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Jefferies and Willie Caldwell Jefferies; her son Paul Wilson; her brothers, Willie Mack "Bill" Jefferies and Tommy Jefferies; and her nieces and nephews, Calvin "Spanky" Gilliam, Penola and Michael Bennett.

She is survived by: her daughter Paulette Wilson; her sisters, Mary "Lucille" Gilliam and Penola "Kitty" Bennett; her grandchildren, Tyrone Briggs, Fashion Brandon, Paul Wilson, Brandon Jeter and Jamil Butler; her nieces, Sharon Gilliam and Bridgett Gilliam; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, CoAsia Gilliam, Corie Gilliam and Torrence Gilliam. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
