He is survived by: his wife Rosie Cannon; his children, Paul Glenn (Darnerka) of Union, SC and Ginger Glenn of Boiling Springs, SC; and his sisters, Patricia Brewster of Gray Court, Adale Cannon of Spartanburg, SC and Parice Copeland (Michael). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Cannon's passing. I have know him for several years. Mostly during the time he drove the bus for Atchinson Tranportation. He did love to tell the stories of all of the trips. He was a great person to just sit and talk. He was very well versed in life. I will treasure those long ago talks and I am sure you the family will treasure those memories. My Prayers are with you the family during this time.”
