He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Wells Sr. and Charlotte Louise Allen Wells; and his siblings, Robert Wells, Jr. and Gretchen Wells Guerts. He is survived by: his wife Bonita Marie Robbers Wells; his children, Wendy Theresa Wells Sprous of Ware, Massachusetts, Wayne Patrick Wells of Poughkepsie and Scot Joseph Wells (Shayna) of Pownal, Vermont; his grandchildren, Freya L. Sprous, Chenna Sprous, Maili Sprous, Carson Wells and Abigail Wells; and his sister Karen Wells Fournier of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
