He was predeceased by: his parents, Collett Fowler and Florence Biggerstaff Fowler; and his siblings, Alda Mae Fowler Burris, Angrus Fowler, Ray Fowler, Alvin Fowler, Louise Fowler, Gilmer Fowler, Dorothy Fowler Bullard, Calbert Fowler and James Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Ethelyne Medley Fowler; his children, Wanda Fowler Bradey (Charles), Scott Fowler (Lisa) and Susan Fowler Chester (Tom); his grandchildren, Christopher Bradey (Roxanne), Eric Bradey (Lacey), Lindsey Fowler Cary (Travis), Lauren Fowler Batson (Graham), Clay Chester (Kirsten), Morgan Chester Keadle (Hays) and Nathan Fowler (Laney); his great grandchildren, JT Bradey, Oliver Bradey, Fallon Bradey, Theo Batson, Jennings Keadle, Asher Bradey, Thomas Chester and Calvin Bradey; and his sister Edith Fowler Hannon.
