He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coverse and Frances Coker Medley; and his siblings, Winfred Medley and Margaret Medley. He is survived by: his spouse Avalon Mosley Medley; his children, Charles E. Medley (Sheila), Glenn Medley (Kay) and Teresa Leyva (Craig); and his brothers, J. C. and Larry Medley. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
