She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Seay and Dorothy Coggins Seay; her husband James Connor Brackett Sr.; and her sister Barbara Battle. She is survived by: her children, James Connor Brackett Jr. and Deborah Rice; and her sisters, Gail Seay, Linda Jackson and Marlene Collins.
