He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Vaughn and Annie Mae Gettys Vaughn; his children, Sonya Ann Huskey and Johnny Lee Vaughn; and his sisters, Dorothy Lane and Etta Thrift.
He is survived by: his wife Hattie Mathis Vaughn; his daughters, Sherry Reid (Tommy) and Shannon Lanford (Blake); his brothers, Ernest Vaughn (Sharon) and Bobby Vaughn (Brenda); his grandchildren, Amanda Clontz, Alston Mosley (Katherine), Ben Lanford, Hudson Lanford and Travis Huskey; and his son-in-law Charles Huskey. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren.
