It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Michael Schmidt of Campobello, South Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Schmidt and LaVerne K. Schmidt; and his brothers, Wayne R. Schmidt and Glen Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Jones Schmidt; his children, Nathan Schmidt (Lauren) of Midlothian, VA, Stephanie Dawkins (Paul) of San Marcos, TX and Michael Schmidt of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Julia, Heidi, Luke, Charlie, Lily, Hannah and Ransom; and his sister Lydia Schmidt Crane of Apex, NC..
