He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Pauline Hill Ham; his parents, Chestly Ham and Cleo Tolson Ham; his daughter Jackie Ham McClintock; his stepchildren, Peggy Jean Johnson and David Hatchell; and his brothers, Edward Ham, Roy Ham, Darrell Ham, Franklin Ham, Fred Allen "Buddy" Ham and James Ham.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Harper of Flint, Carson Ham (Connie) of Camden, Gayle Smith of Camden, Linda Colburg of Saginaw and Ricky Ham of Camden; and his sisters, Rosa Lee Lyles of Charlotte, N. C. and Maggie Altman of Hartsville, S. C.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
