He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Hector and Mary Voncile Conyers Reeves. He is survived by: his son Jason Reeves (Kalena); his grandchildren, Braxton Reeves, Kassidy Anderson and Brady Anderson; his sister Ami Reeves; his nephews, Stephen McGuigan (Leander) and Mark McGuigan (Taylor); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cora, Walker, Dawson and Hampton.
