He was predeceased by: his father Sam; his wife Polly Webb Walden; and his siblings, Alvin Walden, Donald Walden and Doris Gainey.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Walden Dennis (Gerald) of Camden, Larry D. Walden (Sharon) of Camden, Rhonda Walden Rabon (Drew) of Lugoff and Donna Walden Bradley (Lynn) of Cassatt; and his grandchildren, Amanda Dennis Locklear of Longs, Tommy Dennis (Heather) of Loris, Chris D. Walden (Ashley) of Loris, Lauren Rabon Hunt (Jonathan) of Lugoff, Nicole Rabon Silva (Raul) of Elgin, Jeremy L. Bradley (Ashleigh) of Elgin, Jenna Bradley Bates (Marvin) of Piedmont, Chris Smith (Walker) of Greenville and Melanie Smith Poston of Lexington. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
