It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Bates Lee (Camden, South Carolina), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Dorothy Mimns and Frank Sylvester, Sr.; her husband Edward Lee, Sr.; her son Dana Alfonzo Lee; and her great grandchild Mailee Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Darryl Lee (Lisa), Lee Roy Lee (Gloria), Edward J. Lee, Jr. (Henrietta), Lewis Lee (Monica Carlos) and Celestine Lee (Cedrick Tyrell Rutherford); her grandchildren, NyKilah Wiggins, Christopher Hopkins (Carter), Angel Reynolds (Zaiden Kelly), Sharda Bennett (DeWayne) and Merrisika Brown (Robert, III); her great grandchildren, Tramaine Bennett, Ziamain Bennett, Laikahlanii Seegars and Qadir Brown; and her goddaughter Ladovia Williams. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, cousins, friends.
