With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Bruce Jr. of Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alexander, Sr. and Esther Garvin Bruce; his wife Emily Langley Bruce; his children, Sonya Kay Bruce and Jonathan Garvin Bruce; and his siblings, Mary Bruce Mullins and Phillip Howell Bruce.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Bruce Lee (Patrick) of Orangeburg and Robert Phillip Bruce of Camden; his daughter-in-law Gina R. Bruce of Elgin; and his grandchildren, Jason Lee (Jessica), Rebecca Duvall (Steven), Jonathan Bruce (Candace), Samuel Bruce (Heather), James Bruce and Darby Canavan. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
