He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry; and his brother-in-law Rev. Robert Brooks (Joann). He is survived by: his children, Richard Jr. (Suzanne) and Ruth L. Reeder (Dennis); his grandchildren, Emily L. Rogers (Keary), Kathryn R. Cooper (Mitchel) and Thomas A. Reeder (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Thomas Rawlings, William Rawlings, Allie Grace Rogers, Riggs Cooper, Annabelle Cooper and Weezie Reeder; and his sisters, Ann L. Brooks and Jane L. Erickson (Greg).
