It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca B. Drakeford (Camden, South Carolina), who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thompson Barnes and Penny Mickle Barnes; her brother-in-law Benjamin Drakeford, Sr.; her sister Thelma Warren; and her grandson Benjamin R. Drakeford.

She is survived by: her son Benjamin Drakeford, Jr. (Patricia); her grandchildren, Kris Drakeford (Yolanda) and Shanice Drakeford; her great grandchildren, Makayla Drakeford and Zachary Drakeford; her niece Ruby Thorton; and her nephew Cory Murphy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
