She was predeceased by: her spouse Esau Gooden; her parents, Miller Mack and Curtis Gaither Mack; and her sisters, Mary Tucker and Ethel Tucker.

She is survived by: her children, Libby Ransom (Robert) of Camden, George Gooden (Andreana) of Kershaw and Perry Gooden (Deidre) of Cassatt; her stepdaughter Rosa Beckham of Brooklyn, N. Y.; and her sisters, Alma Adams of Camden and Rosa Lee of Camden. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
