He was predeceased by: his parents, Landy Bowers and Bessie Peach Bowers; his wife Marlene Bell Bowers; his daughter Wanda Joan Bowers; and his siblings, Guy, Robert Bowers, Ruby Folsom, Pearl Folsom and Viola Stokes.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Lemonds (Arnold) of Camden, Allan Bowers (Peggy) of Camden and Eddie Bowers (Debbie) of Camden; his grandchildren, Aaron Lemonds, Steven Lemonds, Matthew Lemonds, Kaylee Lemonds, Brandon Bowers, Shane Bowers and Jen Taylor; and his siblings, Betty Kelly of Cassatt, Mary McGee (Harold) of Columbia and Landy "Red" Bowers of Cassatt. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
