With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Louise Bente of Camden, South Carolina, born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, who passed away on December 4, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband, James Alvin Bente, parents, Clark Ralston and Maude Louise Ralston; and her son Thomas Allen Bente. She is survived by : her children, Katherine Louise Ortman (John) of Westerville, OH and Robert Alvin Bente; and her cousin Brian Aring (Louise). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southwinds Assisted Living.

“Sorry to hear about your mother. I just got back to starting to work on the Ralston family genealogy. I had contacted Chagrin High School a few years ago to try to locate her but that was a dead end. It is fortuitous that I tried to google her and found her obituary. I’m sorry I didn’t try last summer. At any rate, when you feel up to it please email me. I’d like to hear what you know about the Robert Ralston side of the family.
