She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Thrasher and Margaret Floyd Thrasher. She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Ronnie" H. Stroud; her sons, David Stroud (Michelle), James Stroud (Sherri) and Brian Stroud; her grandchildren, Ashlee Fairfax, Joshua Stroud, Tyler Stroud, Breanna Stroud, Jay Stroud and Xander Stroud; and her siblings, William Thrasher (Susan) of Wilmington, NC and Diane Mills of Little River, SC. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
