She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Nathan Robinson, Sr.; her parents, William Howard Taft Alford Sr. and Thillian Beatrice Jones Alford; and her siblings, Chester Alford, William Alford, Jr., Sylvia Conwell and Joyce Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Carl N. Robinson, Jr. (Valerie), Anthony M. Robinson (Latoya) and Melanie E. Robinson; and her brother Emerson L. Alford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arts Center of Kershaw County (810 Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Camden First United Methodist Church (704 W Dekalb St, Camden, SC 29020). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1659 Kershaw Hwy, Camden, SC 29020). A repast was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Camden First United Methodist Church (704 W Dekalb St, Camden, SC 29020).
In remembrance of Mollye, the family requests that memorials be made in her honor to Camden First United Methodist Church, South Carolina State University, and the Arts Center of Kershaw County.
