She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Loyea Alexander and Ellen Boykin Alexander; and her grandson Richard. She is survived by: her husband Edward Boykin Beard; her children, Edward Boykin Beard, Jr. (Barbara) of Camden, James Alexander Beard (Acton) of Pawleys Island, Meta Beard Markley (Dick) of Camden and William Davie Beard of Camden; and her grandchildren, Boykin, Jamie, Charlotte and Deas.
Memorials should be made to Grace Episcopal Church or the charity of ones choice.
