She was predeceased by: her parents, Jenkins Luther Boozer and Marcella Padget Boozer; and her siblings, Jesse Lee Boozer and Nellie Blanche Houser. She is survived by: her children, Daryl Phelps (Sheryl) of Summerville, Leroy Phelps of Camden, Charlene Yates of Elgin, Steve Anderson (Rita) of Camden, Rev. Douglas E. "Doug" Anderson (Toni) of Rockingham, N. C. and Marie Johnston of Lugoff. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
