She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Benjamin and Evelyn Bizzell Hardy; her brother-in-law William F. Stanley, Jr.; and her niece Cam Stanley Sutton. She is survived by: her children, Allison A. McCarley (Lindsay) of Columbia and Brent Amyette of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Eliza, Zachary, Izzie McCarley, Corinne and Rivers Amyette; her sisters, Anne Stanley of Loma Linda, CA and Joan Hardy of Wilmington, NC; her nephew Rev. William F. Stanley, III; her nieces, Lisa Spence and Amy Johnson; and her close friends, Darlene Mathis, Evelyn Reynolds, Charlotte Smith, Ashley Dover and Leila Rimes. She is also survived by her mother and sisters being teachers, and her two nieces.
