She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ancrum and Josephine Muessen Ancrum; her husband Charles Frederick Steffens; and her brother Thomas D. Ancrum. She is survived by: her sons, Charles D. Steffens (Colleen) of Rochester Hills, MI, John C. Steffens (Rosa Spivey) of Chapel Hill, NC and Thomas A. Steffens (Elizabeth Creech) of Washington, DC; and her grandchildren, Charles, Sarah, Catherine, Thomas Steffens, Gena, Leah Steffens and Hannah Steffens.
