She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Cornelia Coates Simpson; and her sisters, Patricia Yvonne Simpson and Rebekah Rene Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Randall M. Twitty; her children, Sarah Bauer (Marty) and Adam Twitty (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Norah Bauer, Otto Bauer and Nolan Twitty; her siblings, JoAnne Barron (Luther), Judi Yarborough (Daryl), John Simpson (Tina) and Jimmy Simpson (Debi); and her siblings-in-law, Susan Snyder (Jack) and Glenn Twitty (Lilly).

Memorials may be made to Camden High School, 1022 Ehrenclou Drive, Camden, SC, 29020, or Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.
