He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Kelly, Sr. and Alice Sutton Kelly; his grandson Laurence Mickle; and his brothers, James, David, Lawrence, Ralph and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Edwyna Hubbell Kelly; his daughters, Cynthia Martinez (Pete), Monica Putnam Mickle (Roy), Nadine Johnson (Ronald) and Joyce Joe; his grandchildren, Jarvis Putnam, Ryan Mickle, Mary Elizabeth Johnson, Edward Johnson, Corey Benson, Clarecea Joe and Torie Joe; and his sister Cynthia Boykin (George). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
