She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard R. Brown and Nannie Watson Brown. She is survived by: her husband James Edward Shirley; her children, Jamie S. Truesdale (Billy) of Camden and Jason Shirley of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren, Amanda Tant (Brandon), Carmen Oxandaboure (Jonathan) and Will Truesdale (Samm). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
