She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Criminger and Bobbie Criminger; her husband John T. Garity, Jr.; and her brother Linzy Eugene Criminger. She is survived by: her children, John T. Garity, III (Aimee), Joseph P. Garity (Harriet), Michael S. Garity (Kelly) and Elizabeth G. Turner (Chris); her grandchildren, Meghan Garity, Sean Garity, John Boykin Garity, Sarah Turner and Seth Turner; her sister-in-law Carole Criminger; and her nephew Greg Criminger.
