He was predeceased by: his father Tracy James Hinson; his son-in-law Michael Davis; his mother-in-law Ella King Sandy; and his brother-in-law Tony Hall. He is survived by: his mother Linda Broom Hinson; his wife Carolyn Sandy Hinson; his children, Kenny Hinson, Jr., Patsy Davis and Mary Skinner (Curtis); his stepsons, Lin Benton (Amy) and Jerry Benton, Sr.; his grandchildren, Bradison, Jayden Davis, Christopher, Natalee Skinner, Julianna Boone (Austin), Gracie, Madison Benton, Jerry Benton, Jr. and Ainsley Benton; his siblings, Sherri Hall, David Hinson, Sr. (Amanda), Sharon Moody (Eddie) and Sheila Furman (Sam); and his father-in-law George Sandy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Hill Baptist Church.
