She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Outlaw and Master Willard Rodgers (Shaw Air Force Base); and her siblings, Lavina Sterzinger, Peggy Collins and Willard Rodgers.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. Piper; her children, Tracy Marion Kugel (Kevin) of Caledonia, MS, Shawn Renee Hall (David) of Cassatt, Brandy Piper Johnston (Michael) of Williamsburg, VA and Ralph Edward Piper II (Kayla) of Kalamazoo, MI; her grandchildren, Kevin Kugel, Joshua Kugel, David Hall, Pyper Johnston, Aleric Piper, Kiera Piper and Cai Piper; her nieces, Tonya Hayes, Karen Haskett and Anita Mulligan; and her nephew Trey Rodgers.
