It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell W. Smith of Camden, South Carolina, born in Auburn, Kentucky, who passed away on February 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Smith and Daisy Smith Davenport; and his siblings, Dorothy Rollins, Eula Mae Resnick and James Earl Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Smith; his children, Pamela Smith Galloway, Richard W. Smith (Kimberly) of Columbia and Ronnie Leon Hocutt (Alicia) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon, Dalton, Chris, Ben, Stephanie and Conner; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Wesley, Aiden and Annabelle; and his sisters, Georgianna Smith of Fort Myers, FL, Mary Katherine Conder (Gary) of Litchfield, KY and Patricia Smith-Anderson (Chris) of Coral Springs, FL..
