She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. McLain and Lena Smith McLain; her former husband Sam B. Fowler, Sr.; her husband Foy C. Thompson; her daughters, Vicki Fowler and Theresa Fowler; and her siblings, Phyllis Mathis, Mert Lemire, Ebb Thompson, Margaret Branham, Jack McLain and Bob McLain.
She is survived by: her sons, Sam B. Fowler, Jr. (Elaine) and D. Randy Fowler; her grandchildren, Ross Fowler (Lauren), Jason Fowler (Lauren), Rachel Fowler and Harrison Fowler; her great grandchildren, Gray and George Fowler; and her granddaughter Molly.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Quaker Cemetery (713 Meeting St, Camden, SC 29020).
