She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Hampden Eugene and Burness DuTart Montgomery; her husband Cdr Donald M. Foss; and her brother Charles Edward 'Ned Montgomery. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Foss Murray (Robert) of Camden, Cdr Donald M. Foss, Jr. and William Montgomery Foss of Lugoff; and her grandchildren, James, Adeline, Morgan, Donald, Jasper and Guerin.
