She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Dixon and Mable Evans Dixon; her siblings, Joyce Thurm, Hewey Dixon, Joe Dixon, Billy Dixon and Dewey Dixon; and her son-in-law Blaine Jones.
She is survived by: her husband James Garth Horton; her daughters, Shann Jones, Brandee Johnson (Mike) and Amanda Marturano (Brian); her sister Brenda Watts (Gerald); her grandchildren, Sarah Gurganus (Daniel), Tanner Jones, Joshua Brown (Keri), Avery Johnson, Cade Marturano and Owen Marturano; and her great grandchild Matthew Garth Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camden First Baptist Church.
