With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wilder of Camden, South Carolina, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Virgil and Hazel Cheek Wilder; and his sisters, Elizabeth Coble and Sally Lovett. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Bowen Wilder; his children, Letha Williford (Dennis) of Camden, Robert Shane Wilder (Shirl) of Greenville, SC and James Matt Wilder (Amy) of Belle Chasse, LA; his grandchildren, Cory Flygare (Huriya), Ethan Welch, Kelly Welch, Mackenzie Wilder and Halin Miklas; his great grandchild Olivia Flygare; and his sisters, Bernice Boyer (Don) of Bend, OR, Melissa Wilder of Columbus, OH and Vicky Babbit of Bend, OR. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
