James Nelson Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Nelson Sr. (Camden, South Carolina), born in Lugoff, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Nelson and Jim Harris; his former wife Alice Mae Nelson; and his daughters, Janet Nelson and Linda Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Nelson of Lugoff, SC; his children, Sherry Nelson of Atlanta, GA, James Nelson Jr. (Dianne) of Jamaica Queens, NY and Richard Nelson (Juanita) of Abbeville, SC; and his sisters, Anna Moore of Lugoff, SC and Betty Taylor of Ridgeway, SC.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.
