He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Stover, Sr. and Cornelia Loynes Stover; his wife Loma Fletcher Stover; and his siblings, Dan, Murphy Stover and Sally Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Henry Sterling Stover (Pam) of Newberry, SC, Frederick Stover of Elgin, SC, Lawrence Stover (Frances) of Camden, SC, Murray Stover (Lisa) of Westville, SC, Murphy Stover of Lugoff, SC and Nancie Stover-Nicholson (Douglas) of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Henry Keith, Daryl, Lawrence, Jr. (Brittany), Murshay and Murray Syon; his siblings, Mary Stover (Brodies), Della Peeples, Willie Mae Newton (James), Lillie Benjamin, Geneva Williams (Thomas), Eddie Stover, Jr. and Jimmy Stover; and his close friend Dorothy Richardson. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
