He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reed, Sr. and Alice Reed; his brother Howard Reed; his grandmother Lillie Sutton; and his niece Angela Reed.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edward Reed of Camden, SC, Joseph Reed (MaKeda) of Kissimmee, FL, Thomas Reed (Terry) of Augusta, GA and Alice Williams (Wayne) of Camden, SC; his sister-in-law Vernell Reed of Mt. Vernon, NY; his children, Henry Reid, III (Carol) of Bronx, NY, Russell Evans (Audrey) of High Point, NC, Richard Jones of Los Angeles, CA, Hope Patterson of Willingboro, NJ, Kerita Jones of Staten Island, NY and Natasha Reid of Queens, NY; his aunt Maggie Sutton of New York City, NY; and his uncle Robert Workman (Reese) of Bridgeport, CT. He is also survived by several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
