With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Starnes Hancock (Camden, South Carolina), who passed away on November 21, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Odell Hancock; her parents, William A. Starnes, Sr. and Lorene Corbett Starnes; and her siblings, William A. Starnes, Jr. and Brenda Starnes Nunnery.

She is survived by: her brother Kenneth R. Starnes (Susan); and her great-niece Courtney Nunnery Skinner (Jas). She is also survived by five nephews and one niece.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Red Hill Baptist Church, c/o Mrs. Debbie Hopkins, 2333 Sumter Highway, Bishopville, SC 29010.
