It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Glenn Brakefield of Camden, South Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hennis and Marie Dove Brakefield; his daughter Glenda Ann Brakefield; his granddaughter Elyse Anderson; and his brothers, Ralph Brakefield, Frank Brakefield and Robert Brakefield.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy B. Johnson (Mike) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Leonard Anderson of Chapin, S. C., Jay Grant (Alyssa) of Mt. Pleasant, S. C. and Byron Grant (Caroline) of Portland, Oregon; and his great grandchildren, Carlie Anderson, Aiden Anderson and Rylie Grant.
