He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Boykin and Henrietta Williams Boykin; his wife Joyce Patricia Williams Burch; his children, Henrietta Gergle, Hansel Eric Boykin II (Jen) and Harvey Lamonte Boykin Sr. (Kyle); his stepchildren, Swift Burch III (Chantelle), Green Miller III and Gregory Miller; his siblings, Leonard Boykin, Jesse Joyce Knight and Olivia Roebuck; his grandchildren, Stephen Gergle, Harvey Boykin Jr., Andre Boykin, Matthew Boykin and Brandi Gergle; his stepgrandchildren, Sydah Burch and Swift Kenzo Burch IV; and his great grandchildren, Kollin Marion Perry, Kyle Boykin, Kayla Boykin and Shane Dragone.
