She was predeceased by: her parents, Larkin William and Nellie Mae Meeks Garner; her husband Gene A. Taylor, Sr.; her son Gene A. Taylor, Jr.; and her brothers, Alfred, Linsey, Oliver and Melvin Garner.
She is survived by: her children, Janet T. Hoffman (Sherri) of Seabrook Island, James N. Taylor (Dena) of Kiawah Island and Jerry S. Taylor (Kim) of Lugoff; her grandchildren, Rebecca Richbourg (Brandon), Andrew Taylor, Preston Taylor and Laurel Taylor; and her siblings, Valarie Lominac of Camden, Trancey Twitty of Camden, William T. Garner of Lugoff, Jack Garner of Lugoff and Jimmy Garner of Camden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1106 Wildwood Lane, Elgin, SC 29045.
